I’m sick as I write this, lying in bed convinced I’m dying of the plague (in reality I have a cold. But it’s a bad one!) so I’ll keep the captions fairly brief.
As always, the week began with breakfast out.

We went out to dinner with a friend. I had tapas!

Aliens landed at the shopping centre
We got home from dinner to find Bella hiding on the green bags behind the sofa. It was funny until I realised she wasn't moving. Got her up, she was shaky and holding her paw up. Ended up taking her to the vet for a late night emergency visit and as he examined her she kept holding her paw up "This one! It's this one!" just shows animals are more intelligent than you give them credit for.
After the visit to the vet she spent the night in our bed. A rare treat for her. She lapped it up.
Cutie had some cuddle time with dad
There was a spider on our door step. It stayed there all Sunday. By Monday morning it was belly up. Suspect the spraying we had done for ticks also covered spiders. We felt a bit guilty.
Monday morning she was still being sookie so she came in and slept on my pillow for a while, which she's strictly not allowed to do. Doesn't she just look pleased as punch?

Looks like the white cat (who we believe was responsible for Bella's injuries) copped some karma. Unsure if it was Bella or Lionel who got it, Lionel has gotten really protective of Belle, even though she's still not a fan.
Had dad over for dinner on Tuesday night as mum is still in PNG.
Took a day off on Wednesday. First stop was eyebrows! Better
Second stop: Zumbo!
Third and final stop: Hairdresser!
Much better!

We had a farewell for our amazing and inspiring faculty manager who's been on leave for a while and made the decision to leave us. It was an emotional day, great to see him, we were all so happy in his presence, but very sad to say goodbye. But it's goodbye to a colleague, he will remain my friend.
Came down with the plague overnight. Blame my boss. This is how I spent today.
